My name is Becky Klahre. I am a Certified Nutrition, Holistic Health and Wellness Counselor. I have been working in the area of health for about 7 years in various women’s health clubs. I so love health and nutrition that three years ago I went back to school and got certified as a Nutritional Consultant.
My approach to health is a whole-body approach. Your health and wellness is not just about what you are eating. That is just one component that goes into your overall health. Total wellness is about balance. Your job, family life, exercise program, hobbies, de-stressing techniques, and diet all come together to make up your health. When one area of your life is out of balance, the other areas become out of balance as well. My job is to help you find the balance that is right for you.
Each client is unique and so are their needs. I don’t prescribe to a cookie-cutter type regimen. My assessment includes a thorough client health questionnaire and interview covering lifestyle and diet. I am also qualified to perform Applied Kinesiology, which is hands-on muscle testing for nutritional deficiencies. In many cases, I can ascertain issues going on in the body long before they manifest themselves outwardly.
Another component of my assessment is to scan each client utilizing a device called the BioPhtonic Scanner. This instrument non-invasively scans a person and gives a reading of that person’s antioxidant levels. Antioxidants play a huge role in our overall health. Our bodies are meant to heal themselves with the proper nutrients and lifestyle choices. Antioxidants help to fight free radicals and keep the body’s immune/defense systems working properly. The BioPhotonic Scanner will give a reading as to how well your diet/supplements are working for you.
A large part of my practice is focused on supplementation. Most people today supplement, but are you using the proper supplements in the right amounts? Many people blindly take supplements without knowing how they will interact with medications they may take. Just because they are all natural does not mean they don’t negatively interact with drugs. In addition, there are many natural nutrients available to help with specific issues thereby decreasing the need for certain drugs. With all this information, I can structure a lifestyle protocol to help you achieve your personal best.
I work with clients one on one, as well as in a group setting. I am also available for Corporate Seminars and Lunch & Learns. I work with all types of clients, from those looking to just create a healthier lifestyle to those dealing with diseases such as diabetes and cancer. I offer my clients an hourly rate as well as three month and six programs. I accept all major credit cards and will work with payment plans
